Thank you for visiting my page!

It has been an honor to represent you at the State Legislature.

When I got to the State Capitol I told leadership that I was there to work, and to load me up. They took me seriously! I'm the Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Public Safety, Infrastructure and Resources, Vice-Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and I serve on the Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee, the Joint Committee on Capitol Review, and the Joint Legislative Budget Committee.

I've won awards from pro-family and pro-taxpayer groups, I've helped to increase education funding and have supported reforms that are having positive effects on our K-12 students' performance, and I continue to advocate for real border security and an end to illegal immigration.

As always, never hesitate to email me or call my office with advice, questions, or requests. I work for you!

Thanks for visiting this site, and I ask for your vote.

The Issues

Border Security

We finally have a President who wants to secure our border and protect our citizens, yet progress is still much too slow, and too many liberals in Congress want to hold our security hostage in exchange for amnesty. The federal government should first secure the border, then address the question of what to do about the illegal aliens in the country. Sadly, there is little left for Arizona to do on its own, but we can and should do everything possible to keep Congress’ feet to the fire and insist on real border security so that Arizona’s families do not have to keep paying the price for illegal immigration.

2nd Amendment

Arizona enjoys Constitutional Carry and is the most 2nd Amendment friendly state in the country. I say congratulations, and let’s keep it that way!

Job Creation

Arizona is a national leader in job growth as more and more employers and businesses flee high-tax states like California. That isn’t by accident. We have worked hard to make Arizona an attractive place to live, work, and grow a business. We have passed regulatory reform, tort reform, and tax reform, and it has had a great effect on our economy.

Health Care

We must continue to fight to repeal ObamaCare and protect a free market health care system. We need to allow for insurance to be purchased across state lines and we need to give insurance companies greater flexibility to meet the specific needs of their customers by scaling back the number of coverage’s mandated by law.

Life

I am pro-life and will vote to protect both mothers and their children.
